The Brooks Automation corporate logo must be used in its entirety as found in the files. It is prohibited to use the logo icon separately from the "Brooks" text.
For Offset Print Usage:
EPS: An EPS file will result in the best quality image and, therefore, should be used whenever possible (for offset printing as well as other types of commercial printing such as silkscreen, embroidery, etc.). An EPS file may also be used for non-offset printing purposes, but requires printing to a postscript printer. Not all printers are postscript.
Please note that EPS files may appear grainy or off-color on screen. An on-screen preview is never a completely accurate representation of what will print. EPS files have been created using Adobe Illustrator and are intended to be placed in files for printing. They should not be opened in Photoshop or another image-viewing program.
TIF: For non-offset printing only.
The 400 dpi CMYK or B&W tif file should be used internally whenever printing to a non-postscript printer. A TIF file should not be used when using offset printing.
BMP: For non-offset printing only.
The 400 dpi RGB or B&W bmp file should be used internally whenever printing to a non-postscript printer. A BMP file should not be used when using offset printing.
PNG: PowerPoint Presentations.
These are 72 dpi files with transparent backgrounds (so they can be dropped if necessary). They should not be enlarged.
JPG: For Electronic Usage:
JPG: JPG files are for use on the web and in multimedia projects only. These files are 72 dpi and should never be used for printing. These files should not be enlarged in any way.
