G6xxxx controls with date codes of 2303 or 2304 were shipped from the supplier with a version of Guidance Programming Language (GPL) loaded on them that is incompatible with the revision of amplifier in the controller. This results in problems when the controller is being initialized. An update to version 5.0H1 GPL remedies the situation.
